To enable the &amp;#39;Network device&amp;#39; drop down list you will need to uncheck the &amp;#39;Always monitor a connected device, if possible&amp;#39; check box.  Also, Ubuntu developers do not normally place their configuration on the bleeding edge.  You need to use debian sid. I downloaded this little applet and I have ...</title><content type='html'>Hmm... I downloaded this little applet and I have 2 things to say about it. The first is that the device list is grayed out and I cannot get it to move from eth0 even though I use my wireless connection for the internet and secondly the version in the Ubuntu repository (even with Intrepid) is  V0.14 yet according to their website we should be able to get V0.15 via apt-get for both Ubuntu and Debian.
